The Best Custom Shutters, Blinds & Shades!
Proudly Serving North Atlanta, Alpharetta, and Lawrenceville

Congrats to Sunburst’s newest #ShareYourShutters winner: Chelsey Rushworth! Her winning submission to #ShareYourShutters features two rooms in her home decked out with stunning new Polywood interior plantation shutters that beautifully accentuate both her ornate window frames and modern decor.

Neutral Living Area With Shutters

Chelsey, who goes by Taste of Coffey on Instagram, is a Boston-based interior designer with a penchant for stylish color schemes. A quick look at her pictures shows how she mixes and matches neutrals and vivid colors for a look that’s warm and calming, but fashionable all at the same time.

She even offered a few pieces of advice for designers in Atlanta and beyond:

  • Have a color scheme. When you design a room, you’re always able to adjust colors to accessorize it. Try to pull in colors from either your interior color scheme or ones that will complement it.

  • Be flexible in your color usage. We picked white shutters and most of our furniture is gray, both weathered wood and fabric. So we chose to add in splashes of white and color accents.

Decorated Room With Polywood Plantation Shutters

Not only does Chelsey pick some fantastic color combos, but the use of space in her design is on point, too. From the chairs she uses that lead the eyes vertically to the wall and her plantation shutters, to her choice of shelving under the casement window, Chelsey’s house is modern, practical, and altogether cozy without ever coming close to feeling cluttered.

As our #ShareYourShutters winner for Fall, we’ll send Chelsey a gift card to a great restaurant in Boston, in addition to featuring her designs here. To see more of her work, click over to her personal site at TasteofCoffey.com.

And if you think your new shutters look awesome enough to be our next winner, post a photo of them online with the hashtag #ShareYourShutters. We want to see another Atlanta home featured as a winner!
